Get answers to common questions about Seneca Wellness treatment and
services.
Do you accept insurance?
We are cash-pay only to keep treatment private
and stigma-free. This model allows us to provide confidential
care without insurance barriers, paperwork, or potential
coverage denials.
Can I start treatment the same day?
In most cases, yes — after your intake visit and PDMP check, our
doctors can prescribe Suboxone the same day. We understand that
when you're ready for treatment, time is critical.
Do I need video for appointments?
Yes, we use secure video telehealth for all appointments. This
allows our physicians to conduct proper assessments and build
therapeutic relationships. In some cases, audio-only may be
allowed based on clinical needs.
How often will I have visits?
Typically a follow-up within 7 days of your initial visit, then
monthly check-ins. The frequency may be adjusted based on your
individual progress and clinical needs.
Do you provide counseling?
We refer patients to trusted counseling and behavioral health
partners. While we focus on the medical aspects of treatment, we
believe comprehensive care includes therapy and support groups,
and we'll help connect you to these resources.
Do I need a urine screen each visit?
Urine screening requirements vary by state regulations. Some
states require regular testing as part of medication-assisted
treatment protocols, while others allow more flexibility based
on clinical judgment. During your initial consultation, we'll
explain the specific requirements for your state and develop a
monitoring plan that meets both regulatory guidelines and your
individual treatment needs.
